The Second Training Session for K-PNU facilitators took place within the Erasmus+ SAFE LEARN Project

On May 15, 2026, within the framework of the international Erasmus+ project “SAFE LEARN: Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine” (101236049 — SAFE LEARN — ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE), the second training session for the facilitators of Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University was held.

The trainers of the event, which took place at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Youth Center, were members of the project working group: Olha Savitska, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Practical Psychology, and Nataliia Didyk, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Practical Psychology.

The training session titled “Psychological Resilience of Academic Staff: Self-Management Strategies in Crisis Conditions” focused on strengthening the psychological resilience of university teachers in wartime and crisis situations. Participants discussed the main professional challenges related to stress, emotional exhaustion, and increased workload, and also explored approaches to maintaining psycho-emotional well-being and preserving internal resources.

After discussing the key aspects of teachers’ psychological resilience, the participants completed a test aimed at assessing their perceived stress level over the previous month. The trainers then introduced practical self-regulation techniques, breathing exercises, relaxation methods, as well as art-therapy and body-oriented practices designed to restore emotional balance, overcome stress, and strengthen psychological well-being. Participants also had the opportunity to practice the proposed techniques.
