Registration Open for Academic Staff: SAFE LEARN Facilitator Training

Registration Open for Academic Staff: SAFE LEARN Facilitator Training

We invite academic staff of Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University to take part in a training programme aimed at transforming the educational environment through the principles of trauma-informed pedagogy.

Trauma-informed teaching (TST) is an approach that helps create a safe educational environment where every student feels supported, which directly contributes to improved learning outcomes.

Participation in the training will enable you to acquire practical tools for stabilizing the educational process and methods for supporting students who have experienced stressful events.

The knowledge and skills gained during the training will become part of your professional toolkit, allowing you to effectively organize the educational process while maintaining your own psychological well-being.

We are also interested in understanding how these approaches work in real classroom settings. Participation in the training includes follow-up professional engagement, such as short periodic surveys and feedback sessions. This will help us jointly assess the effectiveness of the methods, address implementation challenges, and share successful practices within the academic community.

We look forward to meeting you!

Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate of professional development (90 hours).

The training is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ project in higher education “SAFE LEARN: Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine” (101236049 — SAFE LEARN — ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE).
