On May 25-26, 2021, Mariupol hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “DIGITALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY AS A FACTOR OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”, organized by the State Higher Educational Institution “Azov State Technical University”.
The purpose of the event was to consolidate the efforts of the scientific community and practical experience in the development of the digital economy of Ukraine and partner countries, taking into account the experience of European countries.
The conference was attended by the educational, scientific and business community from Lithuania, Germany, Slovenia, Ukraine and Tajikistan. Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University was represented by teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics. Doctor of Economics, Professor Nataliia Mazur made a report at the plenary session on “E-commerce in Ukraine in the context of digitalization.” At the section meetings, the research of Oksana Kushnir and Veronika Butorina, teachers of the Department of Enterprise Economics, was presented.
The conference strengthened international cooperation and commercial ties with industry and research organizations participating in the project “Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan” (DigEco) 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
