Local DigEco meeting in K-PNU

On the 12th of January a local organizational meeting was held within the project “Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan” 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP / DigEco co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union with the participation of the working group and teaching staff (developers of new disciplines) of our university.

The meeting was opened by Serhii Kopylov, Rector of the University and Project Coordinator. He paid attention to the importance of DigEco project and the need to introduce the digital economy in the process of higher education in Ukraine. Rector highlighted the main objectives of the project, outlining the prospects for the development of Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University within the implementation of DigEco.

Tetiana Storchova, project manager, associate professor, spoke in detail about the work packages of the project (WP1 – WP5) of the first year of DigEco and the expected results. Natalia Mazur, the head of the working group, professor, covered the issues of the peculiarities of the introduction of new academic disciplines provided by the DigEco project to the already existing educational programs of the university.

During the meeting, the participants considered the use of software products in the development and implementation of new disciplines in the educational process of K-PNU. Oleksandr Svider, a member of the working group, associate professor, responsible for working with curricula and programs, described the modern software needed to implement the project.

The participants of the meeting discussed the criteria for selecting research and teaching staff of the university for training within the project.

The local DigEco meeting, which lasted for almost two hours, was joined by the following participants: members of the working group (Oksana Kushnir, Andrii Nikolashyn, Ivan Semenets, Oksana Tsyhanovska) and teaching staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics (Tetiana Bodnarchuk, Veronika Butorina, Vitalii Tkachuk , Volodymyr Lysak, Vadym Chaplinskyi, Oksana Lavruk, Liudmyla Matveichuk).
