From May 30 to June 3, 2022, the EJC 22 conference, organized by Prof. Dr. Marina Tropmann-Frick HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences has been held. The meeting was solemnly opened with the participation of prominent speakers, including Peter Wolf, Vice President for Research and International Relations, Kikuto Kato, Consul General of Japan in Hamburg, scientists and researchers from Germany, Japan, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Lithuania, etc.
The level of scientific discussions was impressive with its relevance to innovative technologies in the field of information modeling and digitalization.
The working language of the conference is English.
Within the framework of the 32nd international conference EJS’22, an international meeting of the DigEco consortium, which operates within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ Program project «Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan» (DigEco) 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP” has been held.
The results of the tasks implementation of the EU Erasmus+ Program project “Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan” were presented by Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University and other participants of the consortium during the report working meeting.
Our colleagues from the grant holder Nicholas Romeris University from Lithuania, in particular the DigEco project coordinator – Professor, the Head of Business Innovation Laboratory Zhaneta Simanaviciene, offered advice and wishes on optimizing the project work in the extremely difficult conditions of martial law of the Ukrainian teams from Mariupol, Melitopol, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr and Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Our European partners also introduced us to the opportunities that open up for Ukrainian students and scientific and pedagogical university workers during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
An important component of the reporting program for all consortium participants was the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on the life of university communities.
HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences united Ukrainian and European universities in the extremely difficult times that Ukraine is going through. The meeting of partners-friends became a symbol of our invincibility and faith in Victory.
