The preventive monitoring of the project Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP started at 10 a.m on October 22, 2021. The monitoring was initiated by the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine (NEO in Ukraine) in accordance with the project implementation plan and organized by the university-coordinator of the DigEco project State Higher Education Institution Pryazovskyi State Technical University (Mariupol).
Representatives of all partner universities and organizations of the consortium joined the online meeting: Pryazovskyi State Technical University, Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University, Admiral Makarov National University оf Shipbuilding, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University, NGO “Vinnytsia City Organization “Parostok”, LLC “Company M-Master”.
Representatives from NEO in Ukraine were Svitlana Shytikova (PhD) – project coordinator; Petro Krainik – expert in Jean Monnet and ITD project registration; Veronika Tkachenko (PhD) – an expert on the administrative issues of the project, on the registration of MTD projects.
The representatives of preventive monitoring from NEO in Ukraine (Petro Krainik and Veronika Tkachenko), DigEco project coordinator Janeta Simanaviciene, professor, head of the business innovation laboratory of the Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), national project coordinator Olena Khadzhynova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management of Pryazovskyi State Technical University conducted welcoming speeches.
The conversation with Svitlana Shytikova, the coordinator of the European Union’s Erasmus + Network of National Offices and National Expert Teams of Higher Education Reforms project, was extremely valuable. She focused the attention on the basic aspects of successful implementation of higher education capacity building projects (CBHE).
Serhii Kopylov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Rector, Coordinator of the DigEco Project, made a welcoming speech on behalf of our university, emphasizing the importance of the DigEco project for K-PNU in terms of implementing the Internationalization Strategy and its indicators.
The report for the first year of the project in K-PNU on work packages was presented by Tetiana Storchova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Office for International Cooperation, DigEco Project Manager. Basic issues were the development of new DigEco disciplines, their implementation in educational programs of a master’s level of such specialties as 051 Economics, 073 Management and 071 Accounting and audit, the beginning of pilot training in K-PNU and participation in pilot training of our scientific and pedagogical workers in partner HEI of Tajikistan, preparation of a digital economy laboratory and purchase of equipment with a mandatory inclusive component, dissemination activities of the project, participation in conferences and trainings from our European partners Germany, Slovenia and Lithuania, quality control criteria, participation in surveys, internal communication rules and financial report.
Adherence to the DigEco project plan became possible due to the coordinated and effective work of the project working group: Rector Serhii Kopylov, Professor Nataliia Mazur, Associate Professor Ivan Sements, Associate Professor Oksana Kushnir, Associate Professor Andrii Nikolashyn, Associate Professor Oleksandr Svider, Associate Professor Tetiana Storchova and Academic mobility officer Oleksandra Shamarina.
Olena Sidorova, the University’s Chief Accountant, and Viktor Bahlai, the Deputy Chief Accountant (Procurement Officer), joined the financial monitoring unit.
The block of meetings with stakeholders from our university was presented by Viktor Vinnichuk, head of the department of active support of the unemployed of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city employment center, and students Daria Benkovska and Viktoriia Solomon.
The online meeting lasting almost 7 hours ended with positive results from NEO representatives in Ukraine.
