Starting DigEco pilot training

A regular meeting of the working group of the EU Erasmus + project “Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan” (DigEco) 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP together with developers of DigEco disciplines took place on August 31, 2021. The meeting was chaired by the rector of the university, professor, project coordinator Serhii Kopylov.

The purpose of the meeting was to analyze the preparation of new disciplines for the project:

• Digital Literacy (Professor Nataliia Mazur);
• Fintech in Banking, Insurance and Asset Management(Associate Professor Andrii Nikolashyn);
• Blockchain, Innovation Management and Disruptive Technology (Associate Professor Andrii Nikolashyn);
• Big Data Analysis in Finance (Associate Professor Ivan Semenets);
• Digital Performance in Business and Economics (Vadym Chaplinskyi);
• Big Data Analysis and Business Intelligence (Associate Professor Oksana Kushnir);
• Digital Business Models (Associate Professor Oleksandr Svider);
• Big Data Management (Associate Professor Oksana Kushnir);
• Agile Project Management (Senior Lecturer Tetiana Bodnarchuk);
• Data Analytics for Marketing (Senior Lecturer Veronika Butorina);
• Digital Marketing in Action (Associate Professor Oksana Lavruk);
• Design Thinking (Senior Lecturer Tetiana Bodnarchuk);
• Data Entrepreneurship in Action (Associate Professor Oksana Lavruk).

Pilot study on the DigEco project at our university begins on September 15th  with the second level of higher education programs of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics: 071 Accounting and Taxation, 051 Business Economics, 073 Management, and Digital Literacy will be taught in eight other educational programs of different faculties.

Today, research and teaching staff are completing the development of lectures, plans for seminars and practical classes, tasks of independent work and project work, as well as sets of tests.

The project team makes every effort to fulfill all the tasks of the DigEco work plan for the introduction of the digital economy in higher education in Ukraine.
