DigEco Project starts: Make your life more digital with us!

The Opening Ceremony of the project «Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco» was held on the 15th of December,2020 at 4 p.m.

Zaneta Simanaviciene, Coordinator and General Manager of the project,Professor, the Head of Business Innovation Laboratory in Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania)started the opening ceremony.

Representatives of this University also joined the meeting – Aurelia Puraite, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean for Research and Marius Laurinaitis, Associate Professor of Economics and Business at the Institute of Finance.

Kateryna Polupanova, Head of the International Projects Department and Tetiana Horokhova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Marketing and Business Administration of Priazovsky State Technical University – the local coordinator of DigEco for Ukraine, presented overall project plans. They are the project coordinators in Ukraine, so they identified the main tasks for all participants of the event, presented the schedule of their implementation and expected results.

Partners from different countries represented their universities and shared their impressions about the participation in project realization. The University of Maribor (Slovenia) was represented by Boštjan Brumen, Professor, Dean at the Faculty of Tourism.

Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S.Osimi Prof. Mamadamon Abdulloev, Project Coordinator in Tajikistan presented the University as well as representatives of Tajik State University of Finance and Economics and Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University and Nonacademic Partner Neksigol Navovar from Tajikistan told about achievements of the organizations.

Ukraine was represented by partners from Admiral Makarov National University оf Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv), Zhytomir Polytechnic State University, Kamianets-Podіlskyi National Ivan Ohiienko University, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University (Militopol). In total, there were 34 participants at the event.

Our University was represented by the project group including Tetiana Storchova, Nataliia Mazur, Ivan Semenets, Andrii Nikolashyn and Oksana Kushnir.

We believe that DigEco will be the beginning of new ideas, initiatives and achievements, that the project team will do everything to become an effective partner of the project and confirm its results! There will be many meetings, tasks, challenges, obstacles ahead, but together we can make difference!
